The Urban Dictionary defines the Booty Call as a late night summons — often made via telephone — to arrange clandestine sexual liaisons on an ad hoc basis.
And, according to University of South Alabama psychology …

Tiger, it’s the company you keep

Submitted by Ebony on December 19, 2009 – 8:26 pmOne Comment

As Tiger Woods remains in seclusion, his career and marriage are in free-fall.

He did a bad, bad thing — or should I say several bad things.

But, he wasn’t alone. He had partners — several partners.

The women he allegedly bedded are behind the scenes plotting their next moves.

These fame-seeking ‘gal pals’ with their hands extended — many of whom are lawyered-up — have shared their most intimate of moments cavorting with the golf legend.

Tiger reportedly is spending his days in solitude eating cereal and watching cartoons — while spending his nights hitting golf balls.

He’s said to be clearing his head — or battling the demons — since, as the New York Post stated — “his carefully crafted world unraveled following revelations of rampant womanizing that drove his wife out the door. Woods has isolated himself from even his closest friends since wife Elin Nordegren learned of his philandering ways, leading those close to him to worry he might be “cracking up.”

This string of alleged affairs with at least 14 women have decimated the 14-time major champion’s squeaky-clean image.

And, Woods’ roster of sponsors is dwindling, too.

Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer is dropping its US ad campaigns featuring Woods. Consulting firm Accenture ended its six-year deal with Tiger, and Boston-based Gillette dropped Tiger from its advertising as well.

AT&T, which backs the US PGA Tour event operated by the golfer’s foundation, is re-evaluating its relationship with Woods, and an image of Woods was removed from a website banner for the Arnold Palmer Invitational PGA tour next March in Orlando, Florida.

It was replaced with photographs of Palmer, a legendary golfer known as “The King.”

Nike, however which pays Woods an estimated 40 million dollars a year, still backs him as it has since his 1996 pro debut.

The golfer’s wife Elin — a former Swedish model — hired famed Hollywood divorce attorney Sorrell Trope to negotiate the end of her five-year marriage.

Troupe has previously represented Nicole Kidman, Britney Spears and Cary Grant in their divorce proceedings.

Nordegren is expected to ask for as much as half of Woods’ billion-dollar fortune in light of the dozen mistresses who have been revealed over the past few weeks.

She was widely reported last week to be “100 per cent” set on a divorce.

Tiger Woods’ is reaping what he sowed

But, it appears that Tiger’s alleged bedmates are turning his lemons into lemonade.

26-year-old Jamie Jungers who sold her story to a British newspaper, has a new job.

Jungers has signed a reported six-figure deal with Aussie online auction shopping site, BidHere.com.

Jungers, who has claimed she had an 18-month affair with Woods, is also believed to have been paid for multiple ‘kiss-and-tell’ interviews with UK and US media.

Jungers isn’t done making money off Tiger.

She claims to have photographed a naked Tiger after he passed out drunk in a hotel room. RadarOnline.com reports that ‘Jamie said she was going to take the pictures to the tabloids if something happens between her and Tiger, if they break up.’

36-year-old Holly Sampson, a Los Angeles porn star who has starred in such films as “OMG, Stop Tickling Me” and “Flying Solo 2,” claims she slept with Woods at his bachelor party, but said in a statement through her lawyer that she did not sleep with Woods after he was married.

Earlier this month Sampson swung by the offices of the Vivid porno company — and left with a script reading “Holly Sampson Golf Project.”

Her timing is impeccable.

Theresa Rogers, who claims she had a five-year affair with Tiger, is demanding a 2-million-pound pay-off to buy her silence amid rumors of a love child.

Rogers has hired Gloria Allred, a high profile lawyer, in an attempt to negotiate a deal.

RadarOnline.com reports, Rogers told friends she believes Woods is the father of her six-year-old daughter.

The site reported that the 48-year-old blond was trying to have a baby by the billionaire golfer. She even had the blessing of her husband, clothing designer Wayne Rogers, who was unable to get her pregnant.

Her relationship with Woods reportedly started before his marriage – and continued after the wedding. The six-year-old girl, born between late 2003 and early 2004, appears to be WHITE.

Many men say if you want to see how your wife is going to look in the future — just take a look at the mother-in-law.

Similarly, if you want to find out who a person truly is, look at the company they keep.

Julie Postle was outed by ex-beau Brian Kimbrough, who claims she was seeing Tiger Woods on the side in 2004 while he was casually dating her.

Reportedly, Julie’s trysts and phone calls with Woods, which began in 2004, continued even after he was married.

Postle’s lawyer had no comment.

But, the mother of Postle’s former roommate reportedly said, ‘you’ve got to get a condo out of this.’

It’s the company you keep

According to ABC, the willingness of media outlets to pay up for celebrity dirt has caught the attention of Woods’ alleged paramours, some of whom are brokering six-figure deals in the U.S. and Britain, selling the steamy details of their reported romances to the highest bidder, an insider said.

“Mistresses were being offered between $100,000 and $200,000 to talk to the British tabloids and American magazines,” said an insider who helped one purported paramour sell her saucy story to a U.K. tabloid.

Even friends and relatives of the women can get in on the cash.

“Family members with great info were offered about $20,000, up to $50,000, for their interviews. These are usually done in conjunction with a shy mistress who doesn’t want to go public,” she said.

Cori Rist, the 31-year-old former dancer at the Penthouse Executive Club in Manhattan said she met Woods in June 2006 at a New York nightclub – but didn’t say which one.

Jason Itzler, the self-described “King of All Pimps,” reportedly said that Rist worked for him as a $1,000-an-hour call girl.

“Obviously she worked for him,” her ex-husband told reporters. “For her to live in a $7,000-a-month apartment and be unemployed…”

Rist admitted on the Today show that she slept with Woods – but denied being a hooker.

She told Natalie Morales that she ended her affair with the golfer after seeing a picture of him with his wife and daughter.

The Improper reports that Rachel Uchitel is receiving up to $5 million to keep quiet about her relationship with the top golfer, but among the latest bombshell revelations are reports that she was ready to release embarrassing, taped telephone calls with Woods and his wife.

If so, she may have made the recordings illegally.

Uchitel reportedly even recorded the call in which she and an enraged Nordegren became involved in a screaming match.

Woods’ wife reportedly “furiously confronted” Uchitel, who had just been named by the National Enquirer as her husband’s alleged mistress.

Jaimee Grubbs is taking her newfound notoriety to the pages of Maxim.

The former star of VH1′sTool Academy,” who has also worked as a cocktail waitress and in a medical marijuana store, recently did a shoot for the men’s magazine in Santa Monica.

Us Weekly released a voicemail message left by Woods on Grubbs’ phone. The audio begins with “Her, it’s Tiger,” and then he can be heard pleading with her to delete her name off her outgoing message in case his wife calls.

Grubbs, who claimed that she met Woods in 2007 in Las Vegas and carried on a nearly 3-year-long affair, was interviewed on the television show Extra.

Many of these women claim to feel bad for Elin and need to tell their side of the story. They weep for the camera — and, in between deep breaths — tell the world that they were in love with Tiger.

Bestselling author and personal transformation expert Debbie Ford has an interesting take on these ‘victims’ involved in TigerGate.

Tiger Woods: Predator or Prey is posted on Huffingtonpost.com.

Day after day, they are slithering out into the limelight to catch their moment of fame. One by one, they are exposing Tiger’s hidden shame — a porn star, a pancake waitress, a model, a VIP hostess, a club promoter. Is it because they are good, upstanding women who seek to help Tiger and his family heal or is it because they are hurt, wounded and desperate for justice? I suggest it is neither.

It’s easy to examine Tiger’s behavior, to be disappointed and to wonder why he would blow it all. And although I am not at all letting Tiger off the hook for his indiscretion and the pain he has caused his family, supporters and sponsors, I think it’s worthy of our time to spotlight the nature of the other women who make it possible for our great heroes to easily fall from grace. We all know that it takes two to tango, and finding a woman to sleep with a famous married athlete is as easy as Tiger shooting par.

These women are everywhere — looking, planning and scheming to find their next catch. I have worked with many of them over the years who have tried to get off their drug of choice — other women’s husbands.

For the women whose tastes are for high-powered, highly visible celebrities, it is often harder. Why? The gifts are bigger, the false esteem is greater, and the hunger to be something or someone in the world is insatiable. They will do anything to lure their hunt.

To shed further light on these women, here is a profile of the Seductress from my book Why Good People Do Bad Things: How to Stop Being Your Own Worse Enemy:

The Seductress is after one thing and one thing only: to make herself feel better about who she is.

Birthed out of the fear that she is not good enough, loved enough, and does not belong unless she is the object of someone’s attention, she searches until she finds a suitable target to trap in her energetic web. She’s considered a predator because her main goal is to feed on the self-esteem of another in order to soothe her own emotional wounds.

The Seductress literally throws out an energetic hook by being kind, loving, interested, and sexual — luring her next victim closer, all the while planning her next move. She spends her time thinking about how she looks and how others will perceive her.

Her “catch,” so to speak, enhances her inner perception of herself and covers, at least for the moment, the enormous pain and self-loathing that are stored in her psyche.

The danger of the Seductress is that she doesn’t know her real motives, and her victims cannot see them. She doesn’t care who she hurts or what costs her next victim will incur.

Her motives and moves develop in time as she learns the insecurities and vulnerabilities of her prey. We would think her prey would be just men — often married (a bigger kill, so she thinks) — but they can be co-workers, a boss, other women, or anyone else in a position to serve her greater mission: to take others’ light and use it to fill the dark hole of her own emptiness.

She will generally surround herself with those who are weaker than she is — but will pursue those who appear to be more powerful.

Dangerous, poisonous, and venomous are the qualities I use to describe the Seductress, because her main attack is disguised as “love.” Her signal broadcasts in all directions, sometimes loudly and at other times as a soft whisper: “I will give you some love if you give me your power. I am going to make you feel better about yourself if you give me some control. I am going to tell you everything you ever wanted to hear if you just make me the object of your attention.”

What we have to understand is that the Seductress’ shame, the shadow that drives her behavior, is that she is unimportant, undesirable, self-hating, unlovable, and empty.

To heal her shame, the Seductress must come to terms with and recognize that her craving for attention, admiration, and affection of others is a desperate cry from her inner world that she needs help. She needs to find her own value and gifts — something that no man can give her. When she realizes that for most men, she is just a drug, a shot in the arm, a shot of tequila, or the dice in a craps game, she can come out of denial that she is anything more than a sex toy and begin her own healing journey.

Self-respect is her only salvation. She must be willing to feel the emptiness and withdrawal pains that she will encounter when she is without an object to arouse, amuse, and seduce with her charms. Once she understands that what she seeks can be found only from within, she can set out on the healing journey of finding her own worth. Even the Seductress deserves that.

It might just be the ultimate cosmic joke. These seductress women, who thought they were playing Tiger for their best round of sport, are now discovering that they didn’t score the hole-in-one they were hoping for but are only one of 14 balls that were lost in the proverbial sand trap of Tiger Woods.

It’s the company you keep

The PGA annouced that Tiger Woods was voted Player of the Year by his fellow golfers — the 10th time in his 13 years on tour that he has won the award.

Woods started and finished the season the same way — with questions when he would return. He was coming off knee surgery at the beginning of the year, and last week announced an indefinite leave to work on his marriage after admitting to infidelity.

In between, he won six PGA Tour events, captured the FedEx Cup and its $10 million bonus, won the money title for the ninth time in his career with over $10.5 million, and had the lowest scoring average for the ninth time.

No one else won more than three times on the PGA Tour.

There is no doubt that he has had his problems, but being recognized by the PGA is just not one of them.

Remember, it’s the company you keep.
